Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply at all times to Licences issued by ScholarNET Online Education. Please ensure you are familiar with these Terms and Conditions prior to registering for a ScholarNET Online Education site licence(s). Breaches of these published Terms and Conditions may result in immediate cancellation of your licence and access to site materials.

Terms of Use

ScholarNET Online Education issues licences for its subject sites that require the Licence Holder to acknowledge and respect the copyright of materials and content created and published by ScholarNET. Specific restrictions on the use of ScholarNET materials apply as follows:

  • Consumer and Student Pass Licences are issued for the use of the named individual only. Licence Holders are responsible for the security and use of their issued username and password.
    Consumer access to licenced sites is available for the 12 month period 24/7. Student Pass access is 24/7 and expires at midnight 31st of December in the year of registration. No compensation will be considered for minor outages of the sites beyond the control of ScholarNET Online Education.
    Provision of access to site materials to individuals other than the named Licence Holder, (or members of the Licence Holders immediate family resident at the same residential address provided on the registration form), is strictly prohibited.
    Materials may be printed or copied from ScholarNET sites for use by the named Licence Holder only. Materials may not under any circumstances be copied, stored, distributed or provided in any form or method whatsoever to any third party.
    Site pages may not be permanently stored on a computer or retrieval system.
    Consumer or Student Pass Licence Holders found breaching these copyright conditions will have their licence and access to ScholarNET sites terminated immediately. No refund of fees paid will be made in these circumstances and future registration applications will not be processed.
    ScholarNET Online Education reserves the right to take any action it deems fit to legally pursue Licence Holders found breaching these copyright conditions.
  • School Licences are issued for use by the named school on any school day between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Multiple students may logon using the supplied same school username and password. No number restriction or limitation applies.
    School Licences permit access from the registered site only unless otherwise specified in writing by ScholarNET.
    Materials may be copied to paper and distributed to registered students of the licenced school as part of the associated learning activity. Material may also be copied to an overhead transparency for class use during the term of the Licence.
    Course materials may not be stored in any other format or retrieval system or manner.
    ScholarNET Online Education reserves the right to take any action it deems fit to legally pursue Licence Holders found breaching these copyright conditions.
  • Teacher Licences are issued to teachers of schools holding a school licence(s). These Licences logons are for the sole use of the named teacher to whom they have been issued for the purpose of lesson preparation, educational revision or other such preparation. Teacher Licences are not transferable and are only available for issue to the named school's employee(s).
    ScholarNET Online Education reserves the right to take any action it deems fit to legally pursue Licence Holders found breaching these copyright conditions.

Licence Period

Unless specified, all licences are issued for a period of 12 months. School Licences are automatically renewed on the anniversary of the licence date unless otherwise requested or instructed in writing.

The information on ScholarNET Online Educational subject sites whilst prepared to meet published or available curriculum requirements is indicative only. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the information in these pages, ScholarNET Online Education makes no warranties or representations, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy of information contained in this site. The contents are also subject to review and do change from time to time.

Terms and Conditions of Subscribing to ScholarNET

In subscribing to ScholarNET Online Education, you are confirming that you have read, understood and accepted these TERMS AND CONDITIONS and the associated PRIVACY STATEMENT.

Cancellation of Subscription

ScholarNET Online Education licences are issued on a non refundable, non transferable basis. Should you decide you wish to discontinue your subscription to any ScholarNET sites before your 12 month subscription expires, no refund will be payable.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be made at the discretion of ScholarNET on all processed licence orders. ScholarNET Online Education endeavours to provide customers with as complete an understanding of site content and material design as possible prior to purchase. A complete list of curriculum areas covered is available via the demonstration page for each individual subject as are free sample pages for viewing. (Sample tests are not included as part of this demonstration).
